Classic Prawn Cocktail
20 minutes preparation
Serves 6 (as a starter)
4tbsp Le Mesuriers Citrus Mayonnaise
2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 drops Tabasco
2tbsp Le Mesuriers Tomato Ketchup
Squeeze of lemon juice
Salt and pepper to season
900g peeled, cooked prawns
1 cos lettuce
1tsp cayenne pepper
1 lime, cut into 6 sections
1- To make the sauce, mix the Le Mesuriers Citrus Mayonnaise, Worcestershire Sauce, Tabasco, Le Mesuriers Tomato Ketchup and lemon juice in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
2- Add the prawns and stir gently, then put to one side.
3- Chop the lettuce finely and divide between six glasses. Spoon over the cocktail mixture and sprinkle with cayenne pepper.
4- Garnish with a lime wedge and serve.
